Wayne Rochat has been pioneering the application of using software to manage safety and risk with drones since he developed the Basic Aviation Risk Standard (BARS) for the Flight Safety Foundation in 2009. Wayne comes from an IT background in the banking industry where he developed CRM and compliance software for large software firms. It is his background in software development and passion for aviation that enabled his initial start into the unmanned aircraft industry. His first company, AeroSDB, was IT focused and enabled initial drone support management that is still utilized by operators and companies around the world today. In 2013 Wayne ventured into training for Drone Operators and created software to meet the emerging compliance and training requirements established by CASA in Australia. This new company, RPAS Training and Solutions Pty Ltd, established the first recognized and certified compliance training and software in the world. Drone Complier, the mobile app, has continued to evolve and upgrade, meeting the needs and demands of the growing industry in Australia.

CFO Kobus Franck

Kobus joined Drone Complier in early 2016, bringing an extensive background in financial management with a variety of organizations and a proven track record of leadership. In addition to his role as CFO, Kobus also oversees Drone Complier's extensive Training services business in Australia.

Prior to joining Drone Complier, Kobus held executive level roles with transport company Intercape, where he was responsible for all planning, direction and control of company financial policies and reporting. Before that, Kobus led the Commercial Finance department within Cell C, a major African telecommunications company. 

Kobus holds a Masters in Business Leadership from the University of South Africa, and a BCom with Honors from Praetoria University. 

Executive Chairman - William Sundermeier

Mr. Sundermeier retired from FLIR Systems (NASDAQ: FLIR) after 20 years of service. Mr. Sundermeier joined FLIR in 1994 and last served from 2004 to 2014 as President, Government Systems. Prior to joining FLIR, Mr. Sundermeier was a founder of Quality Check Software, Ltd. in 1993. From 1985 to 1993, Mr. Sundermeier served as Product Line Manager at Cadre Technologies, Inc. Mr. Sundermeier also served as Software/Hardware Intern Engineer at Tektronix, Inc. from 1980 to 1985. Mr. Sundermeier received his B.S. in Computer Science from Oregon State University and has attended post-graduate programs at the Oregon Graduate Institute, Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, Harvard Business School (AMP181) and is a Harvard alumnus. Mr. Sundermeier is also a Director of Echodyne, a Bellevue, Washington based company and an Advisor to Marine and Remote Sensing Solutions (MARRS), a Monaco based company. 

VP Marketing & Strategy - Andrew Saxton

Andrew Saxton joined Drone Complier after nearly 15 years with FLIR Systems, most recently as Director of Marketing for the Defense, sUAS, Outdoors, Mobile, and Traffic business units. Andrew brings extensive global experience in Product Management, Business Strategy, Mergers & Acquisitions, Research & Development, and Business Development. Andrew led successful product launches and marketing campaigns in Consumer, Commercial and Government markets around the world.

Andrew earned a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Columbia University, a B.A. in Economics from Claremont McKenna College, and an M.B.A. from the Foster School of Business at the University of Washington. He previously served on the Board of Directors of the American Red Cross (Oregon Chapter).
